Christian music news: Platinum-selling artists Mark Schultz and Point of Grace will perform at Wesleyan Church of Hamburg

Two of the America’s biggest Christian artists will be coming to Hamburg at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18.
The event will take place at the Hamburg Wesleyan Church, located at 4999 McKinley Parkway in the Town of Hamburg.

The 30 city “Come Alive” Tour will bring Mark Shultz and Point of Grace to the area to play some fan favorties.

Shultz will also be introducing some new songs coming from his much anticipated album.
“I am really excited to tour with the girls of Point Of Grace,” says Schultz. “They are as genuine off stage as they are on stage.I have been singing their songs ever since I was a youth director in Nashville and seen first hand how their message changes lives. I can’t wait for people to see the show!”

Point Of Grace’s groundbreaking success started in the gospel market but has recently expanded into the country music arena with the hit song, “How You Live (Turn Up the Music).”

Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Gold Circle tickets are $19.50.

The Point of Grace and Mark Schulz Come Alive Tour is coming to Nashville, this Sunday, September 13! Mark Schultz and the Point of Grace girls will appear in concert this Sunday at Two Rivers Baptist Church Sunday at 6pm.

As reported in GOSPEL GRAPEVINE: Chris Tomlin, TobyMac, Superchick, Point of Grace, Mark Schultz, Stryper, Point of Grace and Mark Schultz are touring together for the first time on the 30-city "Come Alive Tour" this fall. The tour launches today - September 10.

Who Is Point of Grace?

Point of Grace is an all-female trio made up of Shelley Breen, Denise Jones, and Leigh Cappillino. Point of Grace began as a ladies quartet in 1991, with original members Shelley Breen and Denise Jones, as well as Terry Jones and Heather Payne. After releasing their debut self-titled album in 1993, Point of Grace went on to become one of gospel music's top bands. See the slideshow below for photos of Point of Grace.

Who Is Mark Schultz?

As reported in Gospel Music 101: Which gospel artists got their start in Nashville? Mark Schultz launched his gospel music career in Nashville as a youth pastor at First Presbyterian Church. A few years ago, he booked a sell-out show at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium with the support of the First Presbyterian Church congregation, earning Schultz a record deal with Word Records.
